Team LSA is a unique opportunity to be involved with a group of people that are working together to change history. Every year Team LSA takes part in and organizes various sporting events to raise awareness and funds for LSA and our South African partners.
You can participate or volunteer in marathons, bike races, hoop shoots, rock climbing, and various other events. Team LSA members that take part in these events seek sponsorships from individuals or businesses and all of the funds raised are given directly to the partners to save and positively impact the lives of AIDS sufferers in KZN.
It is a great opportunity to do what you love, be part of a team of world changers, and to step into history to alter the trajectory of the AIDS pandemic at its epicenter.
Team LSA and the Battle to End AIDS
As a strategic partner to Loving South Africa, Grace Community Church’s “Team LSA” is mobilizing the church against the “Goliath” of AIDS at its epicenter—Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa.
The families, walkers, runners and cyclists of Team LSA rally at local athletic events and fight to end AIDS. We prepare by training our bodies, spirits, and minds so we can not only complete our events, but also so we can understand the issues at the AIDS pandemic’s core.
In 2010, Team LSA will storm 2 local events:
- The October 16th Indianapolis Marathon
- 5k Run and Walk
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Marathon Relay
- Kids’ Run

Funds raised by Team LSA will literally help save and transform thousands of lives via Loving South Africa’s grass-roots partners in Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa.
We will help these partners care for the highest concentrations of widows and orphans in history through funding of evangelism, education/prevention, testing, treatment, hospice and orphan care.
